A Free Middle East
Interesting thoughts from John Coleman.
For years I have written with hope about what a liberated Middle East might look like: human rights for women and non-Muslims, choice, unprecedented prosperity, and the free flow of ideas. I am ready to admit that I may have been wrong. So far a free Middle East has looked like civil war in Iraq, the election of Hamas, and the execution of Christians in newly “liberated” Afghanistan.
To be honest, I don’t know what to think, right now.
