Probably the last people you’d think of as futurists would be the Amish. However, the Amish have found that using genetically modified crops allows them to hold on to their cultural ideals.

Hey there Jeff. Just read your bit on Amish. There are quite a few families that live right around here. Amish are like everyone else - they justify what they want. Some great ideas from their beliefs and some “different” ones too. But they are human. I love working with the Amish around here though, its a wholely different experience than working with the everyday Joe Farmer.
