Hello Again

Posted in Personal at 3:00 pm by Jeff

Priorities. “God, Family, Work and Personal Enrichment” sounds like an appropriate order. So where does this leave Blogging? Pretty low on the list. While I was able to assemble a good sized audience over the past 12-13 months, I found that the time spent doing so exceeded what I am willing to sacrifice. The blogging will continue, but at this point I plan to reevaluate the purpose of this space and determine how often I will regularly update the site.

If you have ideas for the future of Jeff Doolittle dot com, feel free to leave a comment. In the mean time, I’m getting back to the priorities.

I hear you, man. One’s blog is a reflection of one’s life. Sometimes the latter overwhelms the former. We look forward to your return in whatever form it takes. We’ve had to bail for weeks at a time and hopefully at some point it will result in something mildly interesting when we get back to it. You’ve got to take care of the important things first.

Agreed. Actually, I just started blogging not too long ago for the same reason you’re leaving it: time. Not enough of it. At the moment I’m recovering from working for a point haired boss, and to assist in my recovery I’ve taken to… well, you know. At any rate, I’m just now learning* the right alignment, even understanding that 10% means BEFORE taxes.

At any way, congrats for making whatever decission God leads you to. ;-) .
