Environmentalists Caught Doing Good

Environmentalists often take up causes based on spurious scientific evidence and/or belief the the “equality” of man and beast. However, they’re hitting the nail on the head with proposing a deep sea trawling ban. The practice of ripping up the ocean floor searching for small delicacies is a practice that is causing irreparable long-term harm to the oceanic ecosystem.

Deep sea trawling is performed by dragging a net across the ocean floor and raking up everything in the net’s path.

But such was the indiscriminate nature of their methods that 95 percent of the material caught by the steel nets dragged along the seabed at depths of up to 1.2 miles was simply thrown overboard again, dead, destroyed or dying.

Finally, an environmental cause I can get behind 100%.
