Compassionate Lucidity
Back in January I laid down this challenge at the World Magazine Blog:
“I’d like someone to give me a lucid explanation of what it means to be a ‘Compassionate Conservative.’”
I didn’t realize it until today, but the magazine’s Editor in Chief, Marvin Olasky, responded to my question. Marvin is a respected commentator over at Town Hall and has been a professor of journalism at the University of Texas at Austin since 1983.
Doggone it, I just may need to read Marvin’s book now. It’s aptly entitled Compassionate Conservatism. What do you think of Marvin’s definition of “Compassionate Conservatism?” Talk back below.
