Great Cal Thomas Article
In his column today, Cal Thomas provides a wakeup call to fiscal conservatives. The GOP is moving from its Libertarian roots and embracing liberal economics. I disagree with his solution (term limits), but some of his comments ring true, like “…Republicans, having tasted power, are now drunk with it.”
Here’s an excerpt from Cal’s commentary:
“The just concluded (thankfully) Congress is an embarrassment to itself and everyone who favors smaller government. This Republican Congress, in addition to increasing spending on entitlements and expanding big government - like the Democrats they once criticized - also dished out $95 billion in tax breaks and pork-barrel projects…”

Entries can be set to not allow comments, which is why you couldn’t post on the entry in question.
